About the role
We are seeking a Production Assistant Manager to join our team at our Lipa City Batangas facility on a full-time basis. As Production Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our production department.This position bridges operational management and frontline production, ensuring that assembly and process work meets our high standards for quality, safety and productivity. You will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for day-to-day oversight of production activities, staff supervision and the implementation of manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate production teams throughout assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies
- Monitor production schedules and ensure targets are met whilst maintaining quality standards
- Conduct regular quality inspections of assembled products and ensure adherence to specifications
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste
- Support the training and development of production staff, providing guidance on assembly procedures and best practices
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
- Liaise between frontline production teams and senior management to communicate priorities and concerns
- Ensure workplace safety standards are upheld and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Assist with equipment maintenance coordination and troubleshooting of production issues
- Support the implementation of new processes, tools and systems within the production environment
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role
- Strong knowledge of assembly and process work operations, quality control procedures and manufacturing standards
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using production management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by production schedules
- Experience with automotive manufacturing or supplier environments is highly preferred
