Industrial Engineer (Dressing Plant Pulilan Bulacan)
Logistics Planning & Coordination:
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the movement of goods and materials.
Plan and schedule transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
Transportation Management:
Identify the best modes of transportation (e.g., road, rail, air, or sea) based on cost, delivery time, and productrequirements.
Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation providers, ensuring the best terms and service.
Track shipments and deliveries, addressing any delays, damages, or issues that arise during transit.
Warehouse & Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and ensure optimal stock replenishment.
Ensure the proper organization of goods within storage facilities to maximize space and improve accessibility.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements in transportation and storage.
Prepare and manage all necessary logistics-related documentation, including shipping orders, bills of lading, and customs documentation.
Cost Control & Optimization:
Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities to reduce transportation and storage expenses.
Monitor the performance of logistics service providers and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal cost efficiency.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure budgets and financial goals are met within logistics operations.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, transportation costs, and inventoryturnover.
Analyze logistical data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the supply chain.
Provide management with recommendations for enhancing logistics operations.
Audit & Compliance Support:
Assist with internal audits to ensure all logistics-related documents and records are up-to-date and comply withregulations.
Provide necessary documentation for audits and ensure all logistics activities are documented in line with company policies.
General Office Support:
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, organizing logistics-related tasks, and coordinating logisticsprojects.
Support the logistics department in daily operations, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with other teams.
Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Experience: 2-4 years of experience in logistics planning, transportation, or supply chain management.
Skills:
