Job Description

1. Improves work methods by means of methods study and work measurement
2. Studies and identifies best methods together with production technician/trainer, standardize and install in production lines
3. Supports in multi skilling/training of workers by identifying skills gap and training requirement of the production line through skill matrix and provides necessary tools like videos of best methods
4. Updates skills matrix as necessary
5. Verifies operations in bulk production from Operation Bulletin and coordinate any discrepancy to production and China-HQ Technical team.
6. Works with production leaders to maintain balanced and normal workflow to achieve high productivity through the ff:

1. Line Balancing/Identifies bottleneck operations
2. Production Studies/Provides potential capacity of workers and manpower needed
3. Identifies problems/related issues and recommends possible solution

1. Prepares operation layout, man-machine allocation and assists on production line changeover
2. Verifies worker’s efficiency and identify low performers workers and works on their performance development
3. Performs other duties/tasks as assigned by the IE Manager/Senior IE.

Qualifications/Requirements

Special/Technical Skill:  Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 Proficient in English communication on both oral and written; (can speak and understand Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus factor)

 Ability to multi-task, can work under pressure, and willing to work on extended hours.
