MEPFS Quantity Surveyor

The MEPFS Quantity Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate quantity take-offs, plan analysis, and cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems (MEPFS). The role supports project bidding, cost control, and procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Minimum 2–3 years relevant work experience
• At least 1 year site experience as MEPFS Engineer
• At least 1 year experience as MEPFS Estimator
• Skilled in Revit (preferred), Bluebeam, and Planswift
• Strong knowledge in MEPFS plans, BOQ, and quantity take-off preparation

• Perform plan analysis and detailed quantity take-offs for MEPFS works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection).
• Review project drawings, specifications, and revisions to ensure accurate scope interpretation.
• Prepare cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and material quantity reports based on project requirements.
• Assist in preparing and evaluating tender documents, proposals, and project costing.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to verify technical scope and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize Planswift, Bluebeam, and Revit for digital take-off and quantity extraction.
• Support the preparation of material requests and procurement quantities.
• Monitor drawing updates and ensure quantity take-offs are revised accordingly.
• Assist in cost monitoring and comparison of estimated vs actual quantities when needed.
• Maintain organized records of take-off computations, drawings, and estimation references.
• Perform other QS or estimation-related tasks assigned by management.
