DEMAND PLANNING SPECIALIST
Location: Mandaue City, CebuPerks and Benefits: HMO, Life Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Company Uniform, Sick and Vacation leave credits
Rest Day Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
Time of Work: Monday to Thursday (8:00AM-6:00PM); Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM)
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The primary responsibility of this role is handling the creation, review, and management of purchase orders (POs) within an organization. This role ensures that goods and services are ordered correctly, on time, and in line with company policies and budgets.
- Analyze inventory needs to ensure stock availability using replenishment tool, historical data, market trends and sales input.
- Initiate post-distribution on all available warehouse stocks to respective stores.
- Review and update parameter set up (review, vendor, warehouse, buffer lead time) in the Replenishment Tool.
- Create order scheduler based on vendor’s ordering frequency.
- Ensure timely order booking or purchase order issuance based on order scheduler created and ensure that orders are within respective purchase budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Business Management Related or any related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in demand planning and forecasting processes, forecasting techniques, and inventory management preferably within the pharmacy or retail industry
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and optimizing inventory levels.
- Strong analytical skills, data analysis capabilities, excellent communication, strategic thinking, forecasting expertise, ability to collaborate across departments, inventory management knowledge, problem-solving skills
