To support the continued growth of our business, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Planning Staff to strengthen our Planning and Reporting Team.
Your responsibility
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Planning Staff to provide day-to-day support to the Planning and Reporting Team. This role is dynamic and hands-on, involving coordination of production schedules, monitoring of plans versus actual output, and assisting in the preparation and analysis of operational reports.Responsibilities may vary depending on operational needs, individual skills, and development potential.
As a Planning Staff, the role will primarily focus on supporting production planning activities such as scheduling coordination, material and manpower monitoring, data encoding, and maintenance of planning records and databases. You will also assist in tracking production performance and ensuring that plans are properly communicated and followed across the departments
concerned.
Our business model is highly specialized and differs significantly from typical mass-manufacturing environments in the Philippines. Successful candidates are expected to be detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive, with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the production team.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling- Prepare and maintain weekly detailed schedules based on production plan.
- Develop detailed manpower allocation plans and define target production output percentages.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to accommodate changing demands, priorities, and resource availability.
- Ensure that the production schedule aligns with delivery deadlines, minimizing delays and optimizing throughput.
- Identify and communicate potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Communicate the status of schedules and production progress to relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Track raw material consumption rates and report any variances to the Planning Leader.
- Work with the Warehouse team to ensure all material movements are properly documented.
- Monitor actual labor and material consumption against established standards to identify inefficiencies.
- Accurately encode and update data in production planning systems.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on:
- Plan Manpower Allocation
- Target Production Output Percentage
- Generate and analyze KPI reports to measure production efficiency, resource utilization, and adherence to schedules.
- Compile and submit job order reports, material requisition logs, and production updates to the Planning Leader and Management.
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all required reports.
- Gather and consolidate data from Production, Warehouse, and other relevant departments for reporting purposes.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance production planning and scheduling efficiency.
- Participate in process reviews and improvement initiatives related to production planning and scheduling.
- Assist in the implementation of new planning tools or software to streamline scheduling and monitoring activities.
- Contribute to data accuracy enhancement by identifying and resolving reporting inconsistencies.
- Monitor cost performance to ensure production processes remain within budget, escalating issues when needed.
- Ensure that all reports comply with company policies, data accuracy, and confidentiality standards.
- Handle sensitive company data with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Adhere to the company’s data management and privacy policies.
- Perform tasks and activities as described in the IMS documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with reporting standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to align production schedules with material availability.
- Liaise with other departments regarding production lead times and delivery schedules.
- Communicate plan changes, delays, or rescheduling to relevant
- departments promptly.
- Ensure clear and consistent dissemination of planning information to all stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to share information and align on production plans.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and material coordination.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Working knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is beneficial.
- Preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course, or with relevant experience.
