About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Controller to join the team. As the Finance Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the college's financial operations, ensuring financial compliance and supporting strategic decision-making.Based in the heart of Manila, this full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading educational institution.
What you'll be doing- Manage all aspects of the college's financial reporting, including preparing budgets, financial statements and other key reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, as well as payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Support the implementation of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and control
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the company's operational and strategic objectives
- 8+ years of experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar senior finance role, preferably within the education or service sector
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, reporting and compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in the use of financial management software and data analysis tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification is required
