QA Specialist (Research & Development)

Is currently looking for:

QA SPECIALIST (RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT)

Qualifications:

1. A graduate of Food Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
2. Ideally a licensed Chemical Technician (though we will consider experienced non-licensed applicants with a strong track record).
3. 1–2 years of experience in a food or beverage plant is preferred.
4. Someone who is very organized with documentation and has a good "palate" for sensory evaluation.
5. Comfortable communicating in both Cebuano and English.
6. Open to fresh graduates who are sharp, observant, and willing to learn the ropes of the wine industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Quality Monitoring: Checking raw materials and finished goods to make sure every bottle of wine or alcohol meets our standards.
2. Lab & Sensory Work: Running the daily lab tests (Brix, pH, alcohol content) and participating in taste-testing and sensory panels for new products.
3. Product Innovation: Assisting the Board and Plant Manager in experimenting with new ingredients, improving current recipes, and running pilot batches.
4. Paperwork & Compliance: Keeping our batch logs and bottling reports organized and helping us stay ready for FDA and BIR inspections.
5. Coordination: Working directly with the production and warehouse teams to fix any quality issues on the floor.
