The Research and Development (R&D) Manager at a bakery company is responsible for leading the development of new bakery products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring that all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role involves innovation, product testing, and collaboration with other departments to drive the company's growth through the introduction of new and improved bakery products.

1. Lead the creation and development of new bakery products from concept to launch.
2. Innovate and improve existing products to enhance quality, taste, and shelf life.

1. Develop and test new recipes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
2. Adjust formulations to optimize production processes and reduce costs.

1. Ensure all new and existing products comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
2. Conduct regular product testing and quality assessments.

1. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for new product development.
2. Analyze competitor products and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.

1. Work closely with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
2. Provide technical support and training to production staff on new product processes.

1. Maintain detailed records of product development processes, formulations, and test results.
2. Prepare and present reports on R&D activities, progress, and outcomes to top management.

Qualifications/Requirements

At least three (3) years experience in food manufacturing quality assurance and R&D in a supervisory or leadership role.

Must be willing to work in Mandaue City, Cebu.
