About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Estimator (Offset printing press) to join our team at Concord Grafix Corporation in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in our offset printing operations, ensuring the accurate estimation of costs for our printing projects.
What you'll be doing- Analysing job specifications and material requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
- Calculating production times, labour costs, material expenses, and overhead to provide comprehensive cost projections
- Collaborating with the production team to understand workflow and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals for clients
- Monitoring job costing and identifying areas for process improvement
- Maintaining up-to-date information on pricing, supplier costs, and market trends
- Proven experience as a Cost Estimator or similar role in the printing and publishing industry
- Strong understanding of offset printing processes, material costs, and production timelines
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
