Project Manager – Network & Security

Job Description

Job Summary

The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining alignment with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of security projects involving:
• Web Proxy solutions (secure web gateways)
• Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
• DDoS protection platforms
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions (email, endpoint, and network)
• Develop project plans, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with Security Operations, Network, Infrastructure, SOC, and Application teams.
• Manage vendors and third-party service providers.
• Ensure implementation aligns with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
• Conduct risk assessments and manage project risks/issues.
• Track milestones and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure proper documentation (HLD, LLD, change requests, test plans, rollback plans).
• Oversee UAT, go-live, and post-implementation review.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization of deployed security technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• 3+ years of project management experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on exposure to:
• Enterprise Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco)
• Web Proxy/Secure Web Gateway solutions
• DDoS protection platforms (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare)
• DLP solutions (e.g., Symantec, Proofpoint)
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience in security transformation or infrastructure upgrade projects.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity certification is an advantage.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
