Purchasing Staff

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to determine purchasing needs.
  • Track orders and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order status.
  • Verify and reconcile purchase orders, delivery receipts, invoices, and other procurement documents.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and service.
  • Assist in inventory audits and stock management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting and Warehouse departments regarding procurement transactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision.
