Purchasing Staff
Key Responsibilities- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to determine purchasing needs.
- Track orders and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order status.
- Verify and reconcile purchase orders, delivery receipts, invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and purchasing records.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and service.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock management activities.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with the Accounting and Warehouse departments regarding procurement transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision.
