 I.  Job Summary:

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, profitability, and operational excellence of Data Lake, Inc. Reporting directly to the Executive Committee, the GM leads the execution of the company's strategic objectives and ensures the successful management of all business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Compliance, and Project Delivery.

The GM drives business growth, operational efñciency, customer satisfaction, organizational development, and strategic partnerships while strengthening Data Lake's position as the Philippines' leading provider of connectivity, satellite communications, digital infrastructure, and technology solutions.

The role serves as the primary executive representative of the company in engagements with customers, government agencies, industry partners, regulators, and key stakeholders.

II. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
  • Lead the execution of the company's vision, mission, and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term growth strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market expansions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive innovation and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Provide regular business performance updates and recommendations to the Board.
Revenue Growth and Business Development
  • Own overall company revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Lead Enterprise, Government, Channel, and Strategic Account business units.
  • Expand Data Lake's market presence across connectivity, Starlink, ICT, managed services, systems integration, and digital infrastructure solutions.
  • Build executive-level relationships with customers, government agencies, and strategic partners.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts, partnerships, and commercial agreements.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure efficient and scalable business operations .across all departments
  • Drive service quality, customer satisfaction, and successful project delivery.
  • Establish performance metrics and accountability across the organization.
  • Improve operational processes, resource utilization, and overall productivity.
  • Ensure business continuity and organizational resilience.
Financial Management
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure profitability, healthy cash flow, and sustainable financial growth.
  • Review major investments, expenditures, and capital projects.
  • Monitor company financial performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
People and Organizational Development
  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Lead and develop department heads and senior leaders.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development.
  • Ensure organizational structures support current and future business growth.
Technology and Innovation
  • Provide strategic oversight of technology initiatives and investments.
  • Support digital transformation and business automation programs.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, information security, and data governance standards are maintained.
  • Promote innovation to improve operational efñciency and customer experience.
Governance, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee ISO management systems, occupational safety, and quality initiatives.
  • Implement effective corporate governance and risk management practices.
  • Lead crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
Corporate Representation and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary representative of Data Lake in executive-levelengagements.
  • Strengthen relationships with government agencies, regulators, industry associations, customers, and partners.
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings.
  • Enhance Data Lake's reputation, influence, and leadership within the ICT and connectivity industry.

III. Job Qualifications:

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Telecommunications, or any related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategic Management, Executive Leadership, Finance, or related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, Corporate Governance, Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Leadership, Finance, or Business Management are considered advantageous.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive professional experience in business management, corporate leadership, operations, sales, business development, or executive management.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a senior leadership or executive-level role such as General Manager, Managing Director, Chief Operating Ofñcer, Chief Executive Ofñcer, Country Manager, Vice President, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-functional organizations with diverse business units and departments.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, operational excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic business expansion.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  • Experience working with Boards of Directors, executive committees, government agencies, and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in the telecommunications, information technology, systems integration, satellite communications, infrastructure, managed services, or related industries is highly preferred.
