Facility Maintenance Engineer - Fuel Depot

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep, reliability, and safe operation of our fuel depot infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining critical assets including storage tanks, fuel transfer systems, pipelines, pumps, and safety equipment.
The role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive attitude, and a deep understanding of fuel facility regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on depot equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) issues within the facility.
- Monitor and maintain tank farms, piping networks, fueling systems, generators, and fire suppression systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations including hazardous material handling.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and logs using CMMS tools.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
- Assist in facility upgrades, expansion projects, and commissioning of new systems.
- Support emergency response procedures and participate in periodic safety drills.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance engineering, preferably in oil & gas, fuel terminals, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control systems used in fuel handling.
- Familiarity with standards such as OSHA regulations and ISO.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and tank gauging systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
