Ensure the regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery to identify and address issues before they escalate.
- Plan timely repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve malfunctions.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance tasks with minimal operational disruption.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current on industry best practices, technologies, and innovations in plant maintenance to improve overall operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- License required
- Relevant experience in plant or industrial maintenance roles.
- Certification such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
- Skilled in Maintenance systems and AutoCAD software.
- Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends.
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, and leadership skills.
