The Talent Acquisition Specialist is overall responsible for providing technical recruitment support for a team of Consultants and will have an opportunity to handle full recruitment life cycle. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition and proficiency with applicant tracking systems.
Critical thinking will be required together with an ability to work under pressure in a variety of situations. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with candidates, reporting to our recruitment managers and working closely with consultants based in Bermuda and Cayman.
This is an exciting opportunity to someone motivated by engaging with candidates and giving support to recruitment handling full cycle. Candidate will report onsite at Expertise office in BGC, Taguig and be willing to work the graveyard shift, Mondays to Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Participate and on occasion lead the full recruitment life cycle, partnering closely with the recruiter
- Open new job requisitions, save client BD notes and relevant information in Dynamics
- Assist with drafting and formatting job descriptions and advertisements
- May support with sourcing efforts using tools including ATS system, LinkedIn recruiter
- Vetting resumes against job requirements and providing a shortlist recommendation accordingly for screening interviews
- Conducting screening interviews, successfully probing and applying critical thinking to ensure all relevant candidate information is gathered and leveraging technical interview questions to determine suitability
- Write detailed candidate bios tailored to the recruitment requirements, recommending suitability or any areas for training
- Managing all candidate communications, as well as successfully tracking applications in the review list that come from various avenues i.e. BJB, RG, directly sourced
- Support with scheduling interviews for candidates, recruiter and clients
- Handle references, background checks, etc.
- Assist with client communications as requested
- Support in identifying business development opportunities
- Support the recruitment team with pipeline interviews and pipeline sourcing, tracking appropriately in the ATS and LinkedIn projects
- Support with sourcing and recruitment administrative duties as requested, working collaboratively with wider recruitment team
- Independently managing ad hoc projects such as maintaining temporary talent pipelines, updated bios and candidate details
Applicant must have:
- 2 years’ experience in full recruitment cycle
- Background in conducting technical interviews, with demonstrable strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong understanding of and experience with applicant tracking/client relationship management systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field
- Excellent critical thinking skills with ability to understand complex, technical role descriptions in order to source pertinent talent
- Must be proficient in using LinkedIn.
- Keen attention to detail, strong problem solving, organization and time management skills
- Strong experience building excellent professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Reporting onsite with office in BGC, Taguig
- Willing to work the graveyard shift, Mondays to Fridays at 8 pm to 5 am and would adjust during DST to 7 pm to 4 am
