About the role
HELIOWAY PRECISION HARDWARE (PHILS) CORPORATION' is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our dynamic finance team in Malvar, Batangas. As a full-time Accounting Staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.
What you'll be doing- Performing general accounting tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Conducting regular account reconciliations and identifying any discrepancies or irregularities
- Providing support in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data
- Complying with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for management and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality
