About the role

This full-time role will see you playing a vital part in ensuring our customers receive the freshest, highest quality meat products.You'll be an expert in all aspects of butchery, from preparing, cutting and presenting meats to providing exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing- Expertly breaking down, trimming, cutting and preparing a variety of meats to customer specifications
- Ensuring all meat products meet the highest standards of freshness and quality
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and assisting them with product selection
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised work area and display cases
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborating with the wider team to support store operations
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Butcher or similar role in the food retail industry
- Excellent knowledge of meat types, cuts and preparation techniques
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide expert product advice
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
- Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
- A team player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
