About the role
We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at AALIYAH DELICATESSEN AND COLD STORAGE INC.' in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Butcher, you will be responsible for expertly preparing and cutting a variety of meats to meet our customer's needs.
What you'll be doing- Expertly cutting, trimming and preparing a wide range of meats including beef, pork, lamb and poultry to customer specifications
- Providing excellent customer service by offering product recommendations and sharing cooking tips
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised work area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assisting with the receiving, storing and rotating of stock to ensure optimal freshness
- Providing training and guidance to junior members of the team
- Contributing to the overall smooth running of the butchery department
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Butcher
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts, quality assessment and proper handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide product recommendations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Physical stamina to be on your feet for extended periods and lift heavy objects
