Marketing Assistant

About the role

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your marketing skills within a growing commercial organisation whilst contributing meaningfully to our business objectives.

• Assisting in the planning, coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print and social media
• Creating and editing marketing content such as promotional materials, social media posts, newsletters and web copy
• Managing social media accounts by posting updates, responding to enquiries and monitoring engagement metrics
• Conducting market research and gathering competitor intelligence to support strategic marketing decisions
• Coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns
• Maintaining marketing databases, tracking campaign performance and preparing regular reports on key metrics
• Supporting the organisation of marketing events, trade shows and promotional activities
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of marketing collateral and brand guidelines
• Responding to customer enquiries and providing marketing support as needed

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software or content management systems
• Strong organisational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing channels and social media platforms
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and promotional activities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also managing tasks independently
• Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
• Preferred experience: Previous marketing, communications or administrative support experience in a commercial or corporate environment
• Preferred qualifications: Certification in digital marketing or social media management
