Payroll Support Senior Analyst

Job Description

As a key member of the Central Payroll Support Team (CPST), the Payroll Support Senior Analyst serves as an entry to developing individual contributor responsible for managing payroll and time services across EMEA countries. You will gather data for reporting and monitor existing processes to identify improvements.

This role includes a diverse array of operations, integrations, and reporting processes, where you will administer Payroll and Time & Attendance Reports. You will evaluate existing reports and dashboards, determine the most effective reporting tools, and generate new reports when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports accurate and timely processing of payroll, in conjunction with the Payroll team.

Reviews and ensures wage expenses are allocated to the appropriate department.

Reviews employee expense reports for policy compliance and flags policy violations to be corrected.

Researches and resolves payroll issues, and responds promptly to all payroll-related questions from employees.

Reviews, reconciles, and balances payroll and benefits data for varying and monthly payroll.

Maintains accurate records, updates and monitors retirement, salary, benefits, and position control.

Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. 3 years work experience

Amenable to work during mid-shift

Prior exposure to Payroll/HR Operations in Shared Services environment is advantageous.

Proficiency in Workday and SAP ERP, ADP and/or other payroll system is required.

Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications is required.

Knowledge of other IT system is preferred (Alteryx, FCD Tool, payroll system, T&A, Fidelity, Concur, MBOX)

Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English required to communicate with customers and peers.

Significant analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Attention to detail & accuracy a must.

Knowledge of country and business sector specific concepts, principles and procedures for payroll reporting.

Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters.

Proficient social skills and the ability to successfully work with internal collaborators and colleagues to give ideas, see opportunities, and supply to positive outcomes.

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a diverse range of cultures and business disciplines.

Ability to organize work, handle time and adhere to schedules.

Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are critical.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience working with Workday HCM is an asset, as well as with different payroll systems

Experience in EMEA market is a plus

Strong Excel skills are preferred.

Experience working with a case management tool.

Experience in a regional or global shared service center environment.

Understanding of HR Functional domains (Total Rewards, HRIS, Workforce Data Administration) or Payroll.
