Duty Engineer

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises engineering staff for attendance at work and quality of job performance.
- Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms and public areas.
- Immediate response to equipment breakdowns.
- Provide in-depth analysis and preparation of Engineering/Technical Reports.
- Responsible for the completeness of rooms inventories.
- Check for new maintenance requests e.g.: OOO
- Out of Service and OOO
- Out of Order from OPERA and update remarks once the task is completed.
- Strict monitoring of all Engineering supplies, tools and inventories
- Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems.
- Submission of Engineering Logs daily.
- Monitors and controls engineering supplies, tools and equipment.
- Assist the Engineering Manager in Strategic Planning and Annual Opex and Capex Budget preparation.
- Monitors and updates status of Out of Order and Out of Service rooms to ensure availability of saleable rooms.
- Participates In Emergency Response and Security and Safety protocols.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum Two (2) years experience as a Duty/Building Engineer or any relevant experience
- Qualification and proven work experience in building maintenance.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
