Contract Duration: 2 Years (Project-Based)

Job Description:

You will be responsible for overseeing all onsite construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire construction lifecycle of the BESS component of the solar power plant project.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of construction milestones.
• Supervise daily site operations, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works related to the BESS.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress reports; proactively address delays or risks.
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all construction-related matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and lead construction meetings with stakeholders.
• Facilitate quality control processes, inspections, and handover documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction management of BESS for solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar power plant and battery storage technologies.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in construction management tools and MS Office (Primavera, MS Project, etc. a plus).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Willing to be based onsite in Nueva Ecija for the duration of the 2-year contract.
• Familiarity with Philippine construction regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes is an advantage.

Preferred:

• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with LG Chem, Tesla, Sungrow, or similar BESS products.
• Prior experience working in rural or off-grid project locations.
