As a Construction Laborer, you will support various phases of construction operations including site preparation, material handling, equipment setup, and general site maintenance. You will work closely with skilled tradespeople and supervisors to ensure timely and safe completion of project tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with site preparation including digging, leveling, and cleanup
- Load and unload construction materials and distribute them to appropriate locations
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, and other skilled workers as needed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the job site
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the foreman or site supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus
- Ability to handle physical workload and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
