Trucking Outsourcing Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the outsourcing of 3rd party FCL (Full Containing Load) trucking providers of RCI.
• Initial screening of 3rd party trucking partners’ assessment, and feasibility of compliance to RCI’s accreditation requirements.
• Ensure that the 3rd party trucking parters abide with the vendor management framework in compliance with RCI and its clients standard Policies and Procedures as well as compliance to applicable local laws and rules and regulation.
• Review of the vendor agreements and enforcement of SLAs and Contract and ensure the completion of the agreement and documentation needed within the required timeline.
• Assist in the negotiation of buying rates with 3rd party trucking service providers in coordination RCI operations teams.
• Continuously scan trucking market and industry for latest developments especially on port related situation, buying and selling rates, policies which may affect trucking operation, among others.
• Work closely with internal Teams (Sales, Customer Service, Safety Department and Other BUs to resolve any issues that might arise during delivery).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate, preferably Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related Business Course
• At least five (5) years experience in outsourcing trucking requirements of a logistics company
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• With effective communication skills both written and oral
• Has keen eye for details
• Must be able to deliver effectively with minimal supervision and capable of multi tasking
• Good time management and organizational skills. Able to work under stress to meet tight deadlines
• Results-oriented, possess good analytical skills and must be mathematically sound
• Has positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, independent, and proactive
