Key ResponsibilitiesA Video Editor’s primary role is to assemble raw footage into a final product that aligns with the director’s or client’s vision. Core duties include:
Editing and assembling footage: Cutting, trimming, and sequencing video clips to create a logical and engaging narrative flow.
Audio integration: Incorporating dialogue, sound effects, and background music to enhance the final product.
Visual enhancements: Applying color correction, grading, motion graphics, titles, and special effects to maintain visual consistency and style.
Collaboration: Working closely with directors, producers, and other team members to review edits and incorporate feedback.
Quality control: Ensuring continuity, correcting errors, and producing a seamless final product suitable for broadcasting or online platforms.
Technical management: Organizing digital files, managing storage, and troubleshooting software or technical issues during post-production.
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts, Communication, Psychology, HR, or any related course.
- Certifications in multimedia editing, e-learning development, or digital content creation are an advantage
- At least 1 year experience in training support, multimedia editing, content creation, or LMS administration (preferred but not required)
- Fresh graduates with strong technical and creative skills may be considered
- Proficient in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Canva, or similar)
- Knowledgeable in graphic design, layout, and basic animation
- Familiar with LMS/LXP platforms
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, creative, and able to meet deadlines
- Basic understanding of adult learning principles is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace tools
