Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct long-term financial planning and forecasting.
- Lead budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports (e.g., income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
- Risk Management
- Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage insurance and risk-related matters.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Oversee investments and financing activities.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead the finance and accounting teams.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to guide company strategy.
- Communicate financial insights to stakeholders, including the board of directors.
- Operational Efficiency
- Evaluate financial performance of departments and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement financial systems and technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure alignment of financial goals with operational execution.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role (typically 5+ years).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) and/or an MBA in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
