The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role
• Strong understanding of relevant financial processes and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
• Experience using the NetSuite accounting package is desirable

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial tasks and responsibilities listed above

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce or Finance-related degree) is desirable

• Committed to delivering excellent customer service
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional coordination skills
• Maintains confidentiality and exercises sound judgment
• Lateral thinker with a resourceful and solution-oriented mindset
• Self-driven, results-focused, and able to complete tasks independently

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive student experience
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business
• Invoice domestic and international students for course and miscellaneous fees
• Process receipts of payments from domestic and international students
• Schedule and maintain payment plans for applicable students
• Process student refunds accurately and efficiently
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Assist with student enrollments via the student management system
• Respond to finance-related student inquiries across departments
• Manage the institution's term deposits
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end processing, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the Finance Director with ad hoc financial tasks during busy periods
• Serve as backup for other Finance Officers (Accounts Receivable) during their leave
• Adhere to health and safety protocols in accordance with company policy
• Participate in performance reviews and achieve assigned KPIs
• Attend and actively engage in mandatory staff training sessions
• Maintain budget discipline and secure prior approval before incurring expenses
