About the Role

We are looking for a commercially-minded, highly organised Account Executive & Admin Support to join our fast-growing AI consulting, education and transformation business.

This is a key hire — a role that sits at the intersection of business development, client account management, delivery oversight, marketing support and operational administration. You will help the business grow its pipeline, protect client relationships, ensure delivery quality, and keep commercial and administrative operations running smoothly.

The role spans four core dimensions:

  • Business Development & Prospecting
  • Client Account Management & Relationship Support
  • Delivery Oversight & Commercial Operations
  • Administrative & Operational Support

It is ideal for someone with a background in agency account management, B2B sales, marketing services or professional services, equally comfortable in a client conversation and a spreadsheet and who takes genuine pride in execution and follow-through.

Purpose of the Role

This role exists to help the business scale by ensuring:

  • A healthy, well-managed pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Clients are supported, informed and retained
  • Proposals are followed up consistently and converted
  • Delivery quality is monitored and maintained across accounts
  • Client presentations are updated and accurate
  • Account P&Ls and team time are tracked and visible
  • Leadership is freed from commercial coordination and administrative overhead
  • WHAT YOU’LL DO
1 · Business Development & Prospecting
  • Build, maintain and manage prospect lists across target verticals and segments
  • Research and identify new business opportunities and key decision-makers
  • Support outreach campaigns and initial contact with prospective clients
  • Track all prospects and opportunities in CRM with accurate pipeline stage and next action
  • Follow up on all outstanding and expired proposals proactively
  • Prepare and update capability presentations and pitch materials
  • Coordinate proposal preparation, including compiling and formatting final documents
  • Support meeting preparation and follow-through for business development activity
2 · Client Account Management
  • Serve as a key relationship point for assigned client accounts
  • Manage regular client communication, WIPs and status updates
  • Ensure clients are informed of project progress, timelines and deliverables
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell and renewal opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support onboarding of new clients, including briefing internal teams
  • Track client satisfaction and escalate risks or concerns early
  • Coordinate and attend key client meetings; prepare agendas and capture actions
  • Maintain accurate account records and activity logs in CRM
3 · Delivery Oversight & Commercial Operations
  • Maintain visibility across all active client accounts and delivery status
  • Review and QA deliverables before they reach clients, ensuring quality and alignment to brief
  • Monitor account P&Ls and flag budget risks or overservicing to leadership
  • Ensure internal team time is being tracked appropriately against client accounts
  • Update and maintain baseline reports for each client account on a regular cadence
  • Maintain and update core presentations, templates and client-facing materials
  • Coordinate with delivery team members to track progress against timelines
  • Flag capacity issues, delays or delivery risks early

4 · Administrative & Operational Support

In addition to commercial responsibilities, this role provides targeted administrative and operational support across the team.

Support & Coordination
  • Inbox triage and management — monitoring, flagging and drafting responses
  • Drafting and managing follow-up emails and communications
  • Tracking unresolved conversations and outstanding commitments
  • End-to-end calendar management and scheduling across stakeholders
  • Consolidating low-value catch-ups into structured, efficient time blocks
  • Preparing briefing notes and background materials for key meetings
  • Coordinating WIPs — reviewing minutes to ensure follow-throughs are actioned
Meetings & Follow-Through
  • Preparing agendas and meeting packs
  • Attending weekly team and operations meetings for visibility and coordination
  • Reviewing recorded meetings and producing clear, edited meeting summaries
  • Sending actions and follow-ups after meetings to relevant owners
  • Capturing all actions, owners and due dates into Notion
  • Tracking follow-through and chasing outstanding actions
  • Escalating stalled or overdue items as needed

Systems & Tools

The successful candidate should be comfortable across digital systems and confident using AI to improve efficiency.

  • Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom
  • CRM: Zoho or similar
  • Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
AI & Automation
  • Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools
  • Project management: Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp or similar
  • Experience with workflow automation highly regarded
  • REQUIREMENTS

You are someone who:

  • Has 3–6 years of experience in account management, B2B sales, agency client services or professional services
  • Is commercially aware and motivated by pipeline growth and strong client outcomes
  • Can manage multiple accounts and competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • Is highly organised, structured and proactive — you create clarity in complexity
  • Communicates with confidence and professionalism, both written and verbal
  • Has a strong eye for detail and takes quality seriously
  • Is comfortable reviewing deliverables and providing constructive feedback
  • Can build trust quickly with clients and internal teams alike
  • Is genuinely curious about AI and excited to work in a fast-moving, AI-native business
  • Thrives working autonomously and takes initiative without needing constant direction
  • Is proficient in CRM tools with strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills
  • Can create polished presentations and professional documentation quickly
  • Always maintains confidentiality and professional discretion
