The Executive Chef/Lead Chef is responsible for the overall kitchen operations at Marco Polo Ortigas, including menu creation, food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining the highest culinary and hygiene standards. The role oversees food costs, ordering, and inventory while ensuring exceptional quality and presentation for all dishes served.Mr. Alex Grant Ensor, a foreign national residing in Sapphire Road Ortigas Center, San Antonio, Pasig City, 1600 Metro Manila, meets the qualification and has consented to undertake the role. The employment shall span two (2) years, subject to the issuance of an Alien Employment Permit by the Department of Labor and Employment- National Capital Region located at 967 Maligaya Street, Malate, Manila.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field; or completion of a vocational course in Culinary Arts; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5–10 years progressive culinary experience, with 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef/Lead Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Food Safety and Sanitation related certifications
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food preparation techniques, and kitchen management systems.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Proven leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse kitchen team.
