Senior Sales Executive – Foodservice (SFI) / Modern Trade

A well‑established FMCG distribution company is seeking a highly driven and independent Senior Sales Executive to grow our Services for Food Industry (SFI) and Modern Trade (MT) business. This role focuses on new business development, key account growth, and strong execution across retail and food industry channels.
Experience in General Trade (GT) is an added advantage.
Job Description
Business Development & Sales Growth- Drive revenue growth across Services for Food Industry (SFI) and Modern Trade channels through proactive customer acquisition and account expansion
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with distributors and retail accounts
- Expand the SFI segment by engaging key industry players, distributors, and strategic partners
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through regular engagement and disciplined follow‑up
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, negotiations, and issue resolution
- Ensure timely execution of customer requests, orders, and activation plans
- Track customer performance and identify opportunities to improve sales productivity
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to closing and post‑sales follow‑through
- Coordinate closely with internal teams on stock planning, pricing, promotions, and execution
- Provide timely updates on sales pipeline, account development, and market intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to support informed decision‑making
- Develop and execute channel growth plans for SFI and Modern Trade
- Propose sales activation initiatives, promotional opportunities, and customer engagement programs
- Deliver assigned sales targets, KPIs, and overall business objectives
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in the FMCG retail food sector.
- Experience with Modern Trade and Services for Food Industry (SFI) channels such as supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, foodservice operators, or distributor‑managed accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem‑solving and follow-up skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; proactive and resourceful.
- Able to travel for customer meetings and business development.
