About the role
GDV Business Services Co. is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused professionals to join our Chat & Email Support team (Voice and Non Voice/ Blended)as part of our July intake. This is a full-time position based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, where you will provide exceptional support across both voice and non-voice communication channels.You will be at the forefront of our customer service operations, delivering timely and effective solutions to our clients' inquiries and concerns. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer care and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities- Respond to customer inquiries via chat and email in a timely, professional and courteous manner
- Provide accurate information and resolve customer issues on first contact whenever possible
- Document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records in the company system
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all communications
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors when necessary
- Maintain a professional demeanour whilst handling difficult or frustrated customers
- Contribute to team goals and participate in quality assurance reviews
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support team performance
- Adhere to all company policies, guidelines and service level agreements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling in English
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
- Patient, empathetic and professional approach to customer service
- Proficiency with computer systems and typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by business operations
- Previous customer service or call centre experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate
