Maintain source journals (cash receipts, sales, purchases and disbursement) by verifying, allocating and posting transactions;
Maintain subsidiary ledgers by verifying, allocating and posting transactions;
Maintain historical records by filing documents properly and systematically;
Purchase supplies and equipment as authorized by management and reviewed by the Accountant;
Monitor receivables and ensure prompt collection;
Monitor office supply levels;
Tag and monitor fixed assets;
Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner;
Pay obligations as they fall due;
Collect necessary source documents from related departments;
Prepare and remit monthly government remittances (SSS/PHIC/HDMF) before deadlines;
Reconcile withholding and final taxes schedule, prepare returns and remit them to the government;
Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy;
Replenish Petty Cash Fund;
Prepare and process payroll in a timely manner;
Provide clerical and administrative support to accountant and management as requested; and
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant or by the management.
