Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
• Managing, Evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity
• Ensures that staff are updated on new procedures, products, and events
• Check staff based on daily work assignment
• Ensure that target output is met based on DWA and capacity
• Investigates incidents of violation and prepares corresponding reports
• Ensures that subordinates comply with uniform policy and grooming standards
• Monitors the use of appropriate forms to document stock movement in compliance with warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ensures proper handling & storage of stocks
• Assists in the investigation of discrepancies/damages and submits reports accordingly
• Ensure that RR of local and imported deliveries are counted, checked, and received on time
• Ensures the accurate preparation and timely submission of required Reports
• Ensures the accurate checking of received and dispatched merchandise vs. the corresponding documents
• Ensures that First-In-First-Out (FIFO) System is observed
• Monitor Slow, or Non Moving Stocks and report to management for their consideration
• Monitor and ensure that Stock Transfer between warehouses are covered by STR/TO/CM Transmittal
• Randomly check the accuracy of SOH vs NAV inventory
• Monitors compliance with the schedule for stock withdrawals, returns to the warehouse, barcode checking, returns to vendor, etc.
• Recommends relay-out of storage racks or reallocation of warehouse spaces
• Enforces safety and security policies of the company
• Ensures proper maintenance and use of facilities and equipment to minimize engineering costs and repairs
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Process Review and Special Audit Investigation
• Conduct process review with Manager
• Discuss review results and Corrective Actions with Manager
• Conduct special audit investigation
• Attend Quality Circle meeting with other Department
• Conduct daily Audit of the area if proper procedures are being followed
• Interview and recommend the hiring of applicants for vacancies within the department
• Recommend disciplinary Action based on counseling and NTE

Qualifications:

• College graduate preferably on Engineering or the equivalent
• Logistics/Supply chain experience.
• ISO Training, an advantage.
• Familiar in SKU's handling
• Keen on details, Customer Service Satisfaction (QA skills an advantage) Team
• Player/Builder with good interpersonal relationship skill
• Proficient on computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Firm, Neutral and with Good Leadership towards co workers.
