DISTRIBUTION CENTER (WAREHOUSE) MANAGER
Location: Brgy. Sasa, Buhangin District, Davao CityPerks and Benefits: HMO, Life Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Company Uniform, Sick and Vacation leave credits
Rest Day Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
Time of Work: Monday to Thursday (8:00AM-6:00PM); Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM)
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
The primary role of a Distribution Center Manager is responsible for overseeing operations across multiple distribution centers, and making decisions in ensuring consistent performance in areas such as order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, safety, and cost efficiency.This role provides strategic and operational leadership to the DC sites, working closely with Distribution Center supervisors to meet company goals for manning, costs, and productivity.
Multi-Distribution Centers Operations Oversight- Manage and support the day-to-day operations of multiple distribution centers.
- Standardize processes and ensure alignment of KPIs across all sites.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance and ensure compliance.
- Directly supervise Distribution Center Site Managers or Supervisors.
- Mentor and develop leadership at each site to ensure high-performing teams.
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement culture across the network.
- Identify and implement process alongside with the Assistant Supply Chain Manager (in charge of SOPs and other Business Processes) on improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with the DC Supervisors to plan capacity and resource allocation based on Demand Planning Forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Demand Planning Manager/s and the Supply Chain Head for continuous DC and Replenishment related functions.
Decision Making Authority – has the general authority to make decisions related to day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center including areas such as manpower, DC inventory management and DC operational procedures. Escalate any criticalities to the Supply Chain Head/s and/or to the top management for immediate resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution management, with at least 3 years overseeing multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
