The Purchasing Associate is responsible for supporting procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services at the best value for the company.

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase requests and prepare purchase orders.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking decisions.
Ensure timely delivery of purchased goods and services.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers.
Coordinate with finance and accounting for payment processing.
Resolve issues related to delayed or incorrect deliveries.
Support procurement planning and cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is an advantage.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory and procurement systems.
