TEST LEAD – Telecom OSS/BSS

NTT DATA is seeking a Test Lead with deep Telecom OSS/BSS testing experience, proven QA leadership, hands-on automation oversight, and working knowledge of Agentic QA orchestration. This role leads QA delivery across multi-vendor programs and drives the transition toward intelligent, AI-assisted quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end test strategy for OSS/BSS programs.
• Lead manual & automation teams across vendors and geographies.
• Ensure strong coverage across functional, integration, system, and E2E tests.
• Drive risk-based testing, quality governance, and milestone adherence.

• Oversee Selenium and enterprise automation frameworks.
• Ensure appropriate automation across smoke, sanity, and regression suites.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD and manage environments & test data.
• Lead defect triage across multiple systems.

• Implement AI-driven workflows combining human expertise with intelligent agents.
• Use agents for test scenario generation, regression impact analysis, and defect analytics.
• Coordinate test orchestration across automation agents, GenAI agents, and reporting agents.
• Apply human-in-the-loop validation.
• Improve QA efficiency using historical defect/execution insights.

• Work with PMs, architects, POs, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Lead customer discussions on quality planning and sign-offs.
• Present dashboards, metrics, and reports to leadership.

• Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 8+ years software testing, with Test Lead/Senior QA experience.
• Strong OSS/BSS expertise: Order Management, Billing/Charging, CRM, Provisioning.
• Proven leadership in multi-vendor & distributed teams.
• Expertise in functional, integration, system, and E2E testing.
• Must-have test management tool experience: HP ALM, Octane, Jira/Zephyr/qTest.
• CI/CD (Jenkins), Git, and SQL competency.

• Experience with Agentic QA, GenAI-driven testing, and orchestration platforms.
• API/service-level testing expertise.
• Experience with workflow orchestration or RPA tools.
• Familiarity with bank/SFTP/enterprise interfaces.
• ISTQB Advanced or equivalent.
