About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Payroll Officer to support our Australian payroll operations. This role is ideal for candidates with local payroll or HR administration experience who are willing to learn Australian payroll processes and grow their career in an international environment.

You will work closely with our Australian Payroll team and assist with payroll‑related activities, employee lifecycle administration, and HR support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review employee timesheets prior to payroll processing
  • Support leave management and accurate leave tracking
  • Assist with the accrual management of employee entitlements
  • Prepare and issue offer letters and employee agreements
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Assist in handling staff complaints, warnings, terminations, and feedback in accordance with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring data privacy and confidentiality
  • Organise and coordinate meetings and HR documentation
  • Liaise with the Australian Payroll team to assist with timesheet approvals and payroll processes
  • Provide general payroll and HR administrative support as required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Local payroll, HR, or administrative experience (Philippines‑based)
  • Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar payroll/accounting software
  • Strong skills in timesheet and leave management
  • Close attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Desirable:

  • Exposure to Australian or other international payroll environments
  • Willingness to learn Australian payroll standards and processes
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
