About the role
LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP.' is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Balagtas Bulacan. As a full-time Production Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of our high-quality steel products.This position is essential in supporting our company's strategic goals and maintaining our competitive edge in the manufacturing industry.
What you'll be doing- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans to meet customer demand and optimize workflow
- Liaise with various departments, including sales, procurement, and operations, to coordinate production schedules and address any challenges
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
- Monitor inventory levels, raw material availability, and equipment performance to maintain optimal production capacity
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all products meet our high standards of excellence
- Provide regular progress reports to management and make recommendations for process enhancements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a production planning or scheduling role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using production planning software and other relevant technology
- Thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
