Sr. Canvasser ( ME/ECE/CE/EE)

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Canvasser to join our team at Net Pacific, Inc.'. This full-time role is based in Taguig City Metro Manila and will play a crucial part in our continued growth and success within the Engineering industry.

• Actively sourcing and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers to meet the company's requirements
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors to secure the best possible terms and pricing
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers and continuously monitoring their performance
• Analysing market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimise procurement strategies
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function
• Providing regular reports and recommendations to management on procurement activities and performance

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior canvassing or procurement role, preferably within the Engineering industry
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a proven track record of successful vendor relationships
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions
• Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems and other relevant technologies
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, standards and best practices
