Accounting Associate - General Ledger (CPA/Non-CPA)
About the role
Cebu Landmasters, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate - General Ledger to join our growing finance team. This full-time position will be based in Cebu, Central Visayas, and will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our company's financial records.
What you'll be doing- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting documents
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and analysis
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support the month-end and year-end close process
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Having a CPA License is an advantage (but not required)
- An experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in the real estate or property management industry is an advantage (but not required)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
