Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of proven experience recruiting and hiring onshore Australian candidates
  • Strong experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle for Australia-based positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and candidate care
  • Solid understanding of the Australian recruitment market, employment landscape, and hiring practices
  • Experience using SEEK, LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn, or similar recruitment platforms
  • Previous recruitment experience within the trades, engineering, technical, industrial, or blue-collar sectors is highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies while meeting recruitment targets and service levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accurate recruitment documentation
  • Proactive, resourceful, customer-focused, and collaborative
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and time management skills
Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders through scheduled check-ins, recruitment updates, and consistent communication
  • Publish job advertisements, source and assess candidates through SEEK and LinkedIn Recruiter, conduct interviews, and complete reference and certification checks
  • Proactively present high-quality candidates to clients while supporting talent mapping and long-term pipeline development
  • Manage active vacancies and deliver successful placements within agreed recruitment timelines
  • Build, organize, and maintain candidate pools for current and future hiring requirements
  • Complete recruitment administration, data entry, and system updates in line with established quality standards
  • Provide responsive and professional support to candidates and field-based employees throughout the employment journey
  • Produce recruitment reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and management information as required
  • Carry out candidate care and post-placement follow-ups to support satisfaction and clarify workload, assignment, and contractual expectations
  • Apply recruitment procedures in a safe, structured, consistent, and compliant manner
  • Review candidate submissions across teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency before client endorsement
