Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting for specializedInformation Technology (IT) and technical roles. This involves possessing a deepunderstanding of technical requirements and the local IT talent market to effectivelysource, screen, and hire qualified candidates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sourcing and Talent Pipeline Management:
Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to find passive and active
candidates for specialized technical roles (e.g., Software Developers, Data
Scientists, Engineers, Cybersecurity Experts, Cloud Specialists).
Utilize various platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards (like JobStreet and
Indeed), specialized niche platforms, networking events, and Boolean search
techniques.
Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring
needs.
Candidate Assessment and Screening:
Write and post accurate, compelling technical job descriptions.
Screen resumes and conduct initial pre-screening interviews (phone/video) to
assess candidates technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Conduct in-depth interviews, often incorporating technical knowledge
assessments and behavioral questions.
Effectively understand and communicate complex technical job requirements to
candidates.
Hiring Process Management:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial job posting to candidate
onboarding.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring
managers/technical leads.
Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers and department heads to understand
their needs, align recruitment strategies, and provide market insights.
Negotiate and extend job offers, including salary and benefits packages.
Compliance and Administration:
Ensure all recruitment and hiring processes adhere to Philippine labor laws and
government regulations.
Manage documentation, maintain accurate records in an Applicant Tracking
System (ATS) or resume database, and process necessary pre-employment
requirements.
Market Intelligence and Employer Branding:
Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and local salary
benchmarks and compensation expectations in key Philippine cities (Metro Manila,Cebu, etc.).
Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network, understand industry
changes, and promote the company as an attractive employer for tech
professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree holder major in management, human resources or Psychology
Targeted Selection Certification an edge
Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, Communications,or a related field, or equivalent practical recruitment experience.
Experience: Proven work experience 1 to 2+ years as a Recruiter, specifically within
the technology or IT sector, managing a full-cycle recruitment process.
Technical Skills
A good understanding of technology and technical roles. This includes familiarity
with technical terminology, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure), and common development methodologies.
Sourcing & Tools:
Strong knowledge of various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search) and
proficiency with recruitment tools, job boards, and Applicant Tracking Systems
(ATS).
Extensive network within the local tech community is a significant advantage.
Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (often fluent in English and
Filipino/Tagalog) for interacting with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities.
Detail-oriented, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities under
pressure.
