The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for payroll processing, employee timekeeping, and benefits administration. This role conducts timely payroll, maintains employee records of benefit availments, and supports HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Lead.
  2. Monday to Friday work schedule.
  3. Payroll Processing:
  • Collects and processes payroll data, including timekeeping, daily time records (DTR), and biometrics for all employees.
  • Prepares and distributes pay slips to employees on payout day.
  • Processes payments for social welfare benefits (SSS, PHIC, HDMF).
  • Prepares payroll summary reports for both direct hires and agency personnel.
  • Coordinates with messengers for payroll data collection and processing.
  1. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
  • Updates and maintains log sheet attendance records.
  • Assists with SSS and Pag-IBIG loan applications and certifications.
  • Provides assistance with PhilHealth claims during hospitalization.
  • Encodes salary deductions for uniforms, products, charges, and penalties.
  • Processes savings card enrollment and replacement for new employees.
  • Processes 13th month pay and SIL.
  • Maintains records of separated employees, including clearance and quit claims.
  • Handles the clearance process for resigned employees.
  • Monitors and manages employee deductions and cash advances.
  • Facilitates uniform inventory and management.
  1. Others:
  • Supports the division's objectives and strategies by assisting with additional HR administration requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in compensation, benefits administration, payroll, or HR functions.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employee benefits, payroll processes, and HR systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
