About the role

Bestank Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our warehousing and distribution operations in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods throughout our supply chain.

As Logistics Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory logistics, and supervise a team to maintain optimal efficiency and safety standards. This role is integral to supporting our manufacturing and distribution objectives, ensuring that products are stored, managed and dispatched with precision and reliability.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient material handling
Manage inventory levels, stock rotation and organization using warehouse management systems and established protocols
Oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Train, mentor and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and performance standards
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, machinery and facilities to ensure operational readiness
Prepare and maintain accurate inventory records and logistics documentation
Communicate with other departments including production and sales to coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules
Implement and enforce health, safety and environmental compliance standards across warehouse operations
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within logistics and warehousing functions
Handle customer inquiries related to shipments and inventory status

What we're looking for

3-5 years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics management or a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing or distribution sector
Proven experience in inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications
Sound knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and occupational health and safety standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and documentation
Preferably, certification in logistics, supply chain management or warehouse operations
