Logistics Supervisor

Position Summary

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s fleet of 45 trucks and commissary vehicles, ensuring efficient scheduling, preventive maintenance, insurance renewals, and compliance with safety standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting commissary operations by optimizing delivery routes, minimizing downtime, and maintaining reliable transport services.

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of 45 trucks and commissary vehicles.
• Monitor and schedule Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) for company cars and trucks.
• Oversee renewal of vehicle registrations, insurance policies, and other compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with service providers for truck and car repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Develop and implement efficient route scheduling to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
• Track fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance records for all vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food transport regulations.
• Prepare reports on fleet utilization, logistics costs, and operational efficiency.
• Train and supervise drivers on company policies, safety standards, and route assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in logistics or fleet management, preferably in food manufacturing or commissary operations.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance processes, and route planning.
• Proficiency in logistics management systems, ERP, or fleet tracking software.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards related to transport operations.
