Commodity Lead Buyer

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor qualification projects.
• Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives by spearheading material savings projects.
• Define, document, and implement commodity strategies, including the preparation, updating, and implementation of Strategic Material Segment (SMS) plans.
• Participate in commercial discussions with suppliers to align with organizational objectives and goals.
• Ensure proper documentation, including the maintenance of relevant Info Records in SAP.
• Manage contracts by establishing, maintaining, and updating agreements with suppliers (e.g., NDA, CSR, MPA, BCP).
• Escalate disputes to management and coordinate with legal as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, Ethics, RBA/ESG, IATF/ISO/EMS standards and maintain effective internal controls, including timely updates of processes and documentation.
• Document and implement procedures addressing all elements of standards related to purchasing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in purchasing, materials planning, and process engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP systems and knowledge of SOX, RBA/ESG, IATF/ISO/EMS standards.
• Experience and knowledge in contract management and relevant laws.
• High level of sourcing and negotiation skills with expertise in semiconductor materials.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
