As a CDI Specialist, you’ll play a vital part in improving healthcare outcomes by ensuring patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who want a stable schedule and a shift away from hospital-based roles.
Key Responsibilities- Review patient records/medical charts to identify gaps or missing clinical details
- Submit physician queries or clarifications to support severity of illness, risk of mortality, and medical necessity
- Work with healthcare professionals to improve documentation accuracy and completeness
- Apply clinical knowledge of pathophysiology, medical terminology, and ICD-10-CM principles
- Ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines and client protocols
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
- At least 1 year of CDI experience, or 5+ years of bedside experience (strictly ER or ICU)
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely while on video call (open camera)
- Amenable to night shift schedule
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Preferably based in Negros Oriental or nearby provinces
