Healthcare - Voice Account

This position - titled Utilization Review Analyst - is an independent contractor (freelancer) position with a hybrid work setup. Please apply only if you are amenable to these terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the referral process by identifying appropriate post-acute care facilities, including rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute providers based on patient clinical needs.
• Prepare and send complete and accurate referral packets, including clinical documentation, patient information, and relevant medical details to selected facilities.
• Communicate with healthcare facilities to confirm receipt of referrals, request updates, and obtain admissions decisions.
• Maintain ongoing follow-up with facilities to ensure timely responses and placement progress.
• Track and document referral activity responses and status updates in internal systems.
• Create and maintain updated facility option lists based on responses received, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide facility options and updates to social workers in a timely and organized manner.
• Manage multiple referrals simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Must have experience in a voice account in a BPO setting.
• Experience in healthcare or insurance processes is a plus.
• Experience in prior authorization an advantage.
• Above-average computer literacy and knowledge of computer systems.
• Preferably based in Negros Oriental
