About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Store Accounting Assistant to join our team at Tom's World Philippines Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Waltermart Bicutan and SM Bicutan, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts for our stores.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and process daily cash and bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile store accounts and transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Provide support in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and controls
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management or any business-related courses.
- With knowledge in basic accounting principles.
- Good analytical sand organizational skills.
- Experience in Store Accounting Operations is an advantage but not required.
- Open for non-accountants and/or with Tesda Certification.
